This practical guide provides a detailed presentation of all the possibilities of Microsoft® PowerPoint 2016; it is aimed at anyone wanting to discover this functionality or to find out more. After a description of the new environment, the different views and the ways in which documents are managed (opening and saving presentations and templates, sharing and storing with OneDrive, managing photo albums, printing...), you will learn to create and edit the various elements of a presentation: slides, masters, themes, backgrounds, sections...
At that point, you will be able to create the contents of your slides by adding text, managing the outline and applying text formats; you will find out how to create, edit and format all kinds of object: shapes, tables, pictures, sounds, videos, diagrams and charts; you will see how to use the video editing features (adding, cropping, applying artistic effects, clipping the beginning or end of the video) and how to edit pictures (artistic effects, removing background, reflections, corrections and colours, compression...).
You will then be ready to run your first slide show soon including animation effects, ink annotations, timings... you can save it as a video and use the video in new presentations or share it with your contacts via DailyMotion or Youtube. The last section of the book deals with advanced features such as working in a group (sharing a presentation, publishing it, reviewing and co-editing), customising the ribbon, managing user accounts and incorporating material from other Office apps.
